Veteran right-hander Walker Buehler has agreed to a one-year deal with the Padres, a source told MLB.com on Monday night. The club has not confirmed the agreement, which is a Minor League deal and pending a physical.
The Los Angeles Dodgers’ skipper noted that his rival manager “hasn’t coached before” as the two prepare for more tense matchups.
